The sun blazes high above the canopy, casting long, dark pools of mottled shade on the dry ground. Cicadas buzz loudly and the haze of heat shimmers in the air all around.
The harsh winter winds die down and are replaced by the cool breezes of spring, breezes that blow new life into the land around you. Prickly, green shoots begin to fill your clearing with lush grass and brilliantly colored flowers. Your leaves begin to grow anew and you feel full of life.
